Security Officer Front Office Security

As a Security Officer Front Office Security in Lithonia, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will welcome visitors, monitor access, and support daily security-related operations through clear communication and professional presence. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
- Monitor visitor access at the front desk, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct guests, vendors, and/or associates in accordance with site procedures.
- Answer phones, manage sign-in logs, and support badge, key, and/or access control processes while maintaining accurate front desk records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Observe activity at entry points and reception areas, report unusual or suspicious behavior, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
