Security Officer Full Time Credential Review Job in Little Rock, Arkansas

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Review in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and access credentials, supporting visitor management, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and reflect Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor and/or driver information in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate access-related records, including visitor logs, driver entries, package or delivery documentation, and incident reports as required.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
