Security Officer Access Control

As a Security Officer Access Control in Livingston, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first, always acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
- Monitor gates, doors, badges, visitor logs, and/or vehicle activity to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and/or security-related incidents.
- Respond to incidents, delivery issues, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with attention to changing conditions common in a logistics and distribution location.
- Document daily activities, access events, equipment concerns, and/or incident details in written reports and logs to support site policies and post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
