Security Officer - Full Time Patrol Driver Job in Lodi, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Lodi, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. You will deliver welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
- Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, delivery activity, and restricted-area access while following applicable post orders and reporting security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
