As a Security Officer Badge Room Monitor in Longwood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and employee credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures.
- Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Support traffic flow and visitor management by directing guests, maintaining orderly access at gates and entry points, and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
