As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verifying identification and controlling access as required by location policies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations and activities during the shift.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and first responders as needed.
• Remain alert to situations that could pose potential security-related concerns at government facilities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter undesirable activity in and around the property.
• Follow instructions provided by Allied Universal and onsite management regarding post orders and emergency protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
