Security Guard Patrol Agent

As a Security Guard Patrol Agent in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas for unusual activity, assisting with visitor direction, access control practices, and reporting maintenance and/or life-related hazards observed during patrols.
- Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining activity logs, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-specific guidelines for an unarmed patrol assignment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
