What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, members, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including preparing accurate reports and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards.
- Serve at an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining readiness to respond to security-related concerns while using sound judgment and de-escalation when appropriate.
- Monitor access points and activity across the location, helping to verify authorized entry, support asset protection efforts, and provide directions or assistance as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
