What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the transportation location, providing customer service in all interactions.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action according to established protocols.
• Monitor access points, entrances, and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and provide a visible presence.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or passengers, providing information or assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Participate in emergency response activities as appropriate for the armed patrol post, following directives and procedures to support the location's operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active armed guard card or license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
