As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Transportation Sector in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing peace of mind to the public. You will conduct regular patrols, remain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. As this is an armed post, you will be responsible for carrying out security-related duties requiring an armed guard card or license. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related patrols, both regular and random, around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals at the location and following security-related procedures as directed.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including taking action according to established protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents encountered during patrols, documenting details as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Work collaboratively with other security professionals and/or public officials as needed to address situations that arise.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and remain alert to potential security-related concerns specific to transportation environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants must possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
