Security Officer Bike Patrol - Industrial BID Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Officer Bike Patrol - Industrial BID in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct visible patrols by vehicle and bike, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture while working as part of a dedicated team.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, officials, and members of the public while carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, or activities according to established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining professional conduct and following applicable armed post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years of security, law enforcement, or military experience
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- A valid California Guard Card.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
