Security Officer Dispatch Communications Specialist Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatcher at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, manage access control and badge requests, and dispatch officers as needed. Your visible, service-focused support will help deter incidents while providing a welcoming experience for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, access control activity, cameras, and/or alarm systems; dispatch appropriate personnel and communicate updates to relevant contacts.
- Receive, document, and relay information regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, visitor activity, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, key or access records, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Coordinate routine and emergency communications with patrol personnel, building management, and first responders as directed by site-specific protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
