Security Officer Front Desk Receptionist

As a Security Officer Front Desk Receptionist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location where you will serve as the front desk presence, helping to monitor access, greet visitors, support tenant and guest needs, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, integrity, and customer-focused service while creating a welcoming and reliable experience each day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor lobby and front desk activity, verify visitor identity and/or appointments, maintain guest sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Answer questions, provide directions, support access control procedures, and document daily activities, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports.
- Support a professional front desk presence within a commercial real estate location by receiving deliveries, coordinating with tenants and/or vendors, and following property-specific post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
