Security Officer Front Desk Specialist

As a Security Officer Front Desk Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will greet visitors, manage access control, monitor activity at the lobby, and support a welcoming, professional atmosphere. In this highly visible role, you will help address security-related concerns through strong communication, customer service, and attention to detail, while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity through teamwork.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and screening protocols for a commercial office location.
- Monitor lobby activity, manage visitor access and badge processes, and support sign-in and/or sign-out procedures in line with property guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Answer phones, direct guests, and provide clear information regarding building access, deliveries, and other front desk expectations.
- Observe and report suspicious, unusual, and/or security-related activity at the front desk and surrounding lobby area, helping to deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
