Security Officer Full Time Building Patrol Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Building Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to guests, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort public areas, guest access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance, policy, or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while providing a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
