Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Communications Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Communications in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and dispatch personnel as needed. You will provide professional customer service while helping to support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor alarm systems, cameras, radios, and other communications channels; receive and document calls for service; and dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications to management, emergency services, and/or appropriate contacts as directed.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, key control records, and visitor or contractor activity records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
- Coordinate routine and urgent patrol requests, monitor the status of responding personnel, and help to deter unauthorized activity through timely communication and observation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least six months of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
