Security Officer Full Time Residential Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Residential in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns in accordance with site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
