Security Officer Guest Services Desk

As a Security Officer Guest Services Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will help create a welcoming presence, monitor access, observe activity, and support security-related concerns through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access at the front desk by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor information, issuing access credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with location policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by answering questions, directing visitors, observing lobby activity for unusual behavior, and reporting security-related concerns according to post procedures.
- Maintain accurate front desk logs, incident records, and other required documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive stationary presence and consistent application of site rules.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
