As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support a secure atmosphere.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential threats, or hazards to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities as directed by site protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and staff entry and exit procedures to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Assist with crowd control and/or visitor management during busy periods or critical incidents within the healthcare facility.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
