Security Officer Reception Console

As a Security Officer Reception Console in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a retail location, you will be the first point of contact, helping manage access, greet visitors, monitor activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service while working in an agile, reliable, and innovative team culture that puts people first and values integrity in every interaction.

- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and front desk support activities at the location.
- Monitor lobby and entry activity, greet guests, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct individuals to the appropriate destination in a courteous manner.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Support a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with lost and found or general inquiries, and follow emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
