Security Officer Unarmed Train Station

As a Security Officer Unarmed Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, observe daily operations, and report policy violations or maintenance-related issues.
- Assist with security-related reporting, incident logs, and shift pass-down communication while following Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
