What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those requiring an armed response.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for suspicious activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter unauthorized access or other security-related concerns.
• Complete incident reports and document observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other security-related personnel, transportation staff, and/or law enforcement as situations require.
• Remain alert to changing conditions and respond to alarms or emergency calls in a professional manner, following site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
