Unarmed Security Officer Full Time Train Station Patrol Job in Los Angeles, California

As a Unarmed Security Officer Full Time Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document observations, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports; communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal supervision and client representatives as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
