As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, controlling visitor entry, and documenting contractor, delivery, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Access control/badge experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
