Security Officer Full Time

As a Security Officer Full Time Site Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and remain visible to help to deter incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and/or vehicle traffic while observing for policy violations, access issues, and other security-related concerns.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts, documenting events, and assisting with orderly response actions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
