What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and Allied Universal leadership per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations as directed by site procedures, and direct visitors to appropriate locations.
  • Control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies, including inspecting packages and/or vehicles when required by post orders.
  • Maintain awareness of restricted areas and support compliance with controlled access requirements common to aerospace and defense environments.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems such as alarms, access control, radios, and surveillance equipment as assigned, reporting malfunctions and unusual activity.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with accurate details and submit documentation in a timely manner.
  • Support emergency and abnormal event actions such as evacuations, shelter-in-place, and medical response notifications, following site-specific procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with client representatives, onsite personnel, and responding services to coordinate incident response and restore normal operations.
  • Perform foot and/or vehicle patrols in varying weather and site conditions, adjusting patrol routes and frequency per post orders.
  • Follow all Allied Universal policies, client site rules, and confidentiality requirements while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
