Security Officer Unarmed Security Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Security Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Working with agility, reliability, and innovation, you will support a caring culture, put people first, and deliver through teamwork and integrity every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working conditions that may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing site activity, and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities and incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
