Security Officer Patrol Driver - Evenings

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Evenings in Lyndhurst, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, offering the chance to support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Monitor activity at the location and assist with directing foot traffic, supporting store opening and closing routines, and addressing questions or requests from the public in a professional manner.
- Help to deter unauthorized behavior, loitering, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and communicating with management, tenants, and/or local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
