Security Officer Patrol Driver - Shopping Center

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Madison, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour
Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, crowd awareness, and policy compliance during business hours and/or special events.
- Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by reporting suspicious behavior, customer concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
