As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratory-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
