Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator
As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor communication systems, alarms, cameras, and/or other dispatch tools to help identify unusual activity and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Coordinate routine and urgent dispatch activity by receiving calls, prioritizing incidents, documenting details, and communicating updates to Allied Universal personnel and designated site contacts.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and status records related to calls for service, alarm activity, visitor concerns, and other security-related events.
- Support regular and random patrol activity by dispatching personnel to assigned areas, tracking coverage across the location, and reporting issues that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
