Security Officer - Dispatch Operations

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a leading technology environment. You will monitor alarm panels, manage access control, and coordinate communication, helping to deter incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage communications for the site, including receiving and dispatching calls, messages, and notifications as required.
• Assist with coordinating response to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all activities, incidents, and dispatches as part of security-related operations.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal team members to provide support during emergencies and routine operations.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by monitoring surveillance systems and alarm panels.
• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Support Allied Universal in carrying out security-related procedures that align with the unique requirements of a technology and media location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid are preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
