As a Security Officer - Bank Branch Greeter in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, managing access, and monitoring cameras and alarms to help identify and help to deter security-related concerns. You will support employees and guests with clear communication, document incidents, and use computer and/or tablet systems for reporting and visitor logs. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk within a financial institution location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
  • Monitor security-related alarms, access control systems, and CCTV as assigned, and report irregular activity per site procedures.
  • Answer phones and greet arrivals, route calls and requests, and coordinate with building management and client contacts as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, and other urgent situations, and notify emergency services when directed by procedure.
  • Complete security-related reports and documentation such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift turnover notes with accurate details.
  • Support a professional lobby environment by assisting with package and delivery screening procedures, lost and found processes, and lobby queue management as applicable.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding policy questions, access issues, and operational concerns, escalating matters when required.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior through a visible, attentive front desk presence and consistent application of site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
