Security Officer - Financial Front Desk Specialist

As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk Specialist in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and team members. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and maintaining a professional presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer systems and provide outstanding customer service, reflecting our commitment to reliability, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Greet and screen all visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk in accordance with site-specific policies for a financial institution location.
• Monitor access control systems and maintain visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry and manage access to the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures from Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries, offering directions, and assisting individuals as needed while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
• Follow site-specific emergency response procedures and coordinate with local authorities and/or Allied Universal personnel as required.
• Communicate important information and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and the client’s designated contacts promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a professional and organized front desk area, keeping sensitive information and materials secure and confidential.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
