What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, screening and visitor management practices, and supporting access control for a healthcare location.
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct individuals according to front desk protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Monitor entrances, reception areas, and security-related systems from a stationary post to help to deter unauthorized access and support a courteous, orderly environment.
- Complete required logs, reports, and notifications related to visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other front desk activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
