Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. At a dynamic technology location, our Armed Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to site needs, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing timely information with supervisors and/or local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support adherence to post orders related to restricted areas, equipment spaces, and other sensitive locations.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol activity, visitor interactions, and/or maintenance-related concerns observed during the shift.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
