Security Officer Dispatch Specialist

As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional supporting a financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, and maintain clear communication with officers, staff, and visitors. In this dynamic role, you will help support smooth operations through attention to detail, strong customer service, and teamwork. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Monitor dispatch communications, alarm activity, cameras, and/or incoming calls, and relay information to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations by documenting details, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating security-related responses with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records to support site procedures, follow-up actions, and/or communication between shifts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
