Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol Driver in Bristow, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and proactive communication will contribute to a welcoming and secure environment for employees and visitors alike. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving responsibilities are part of the role. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and observe the premises for unusual activity and report security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying credentials and directing visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with client staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support site operations.
• Complete necessary reports and documentation for security-related activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
