As a Security Professional - Armed Site Patrol in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment at a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols in assigned areas, maintaining a strong and approachable presence to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the high standards and values that define Allied Universal: agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Tue05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
Fri07:30 AM - 05:30 PM
Sun05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols, including those related to access control and emergency response.
  • Provide customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and/or the public with questions or concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Report and document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, maintaining readiness to respond to evolving situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
