Security Guard First Shift Patrol Driver Job in Maple Grove, Minnesota

As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will drive to conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide responsive customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting security-related operations. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corporate offices, technology spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and communication protocols.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
