Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver - Auto Center Job in Maple Grove, Minnesota

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, drive company vehicles as needed, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established escalation procedures.
- Help maintain a professional presence while observing site activity and reporting facility hazards, policy violations, and security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
