What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, with the understanding that working environments and conditions may vary by location within the logistics and distribution sector.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and routine patrols.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and/or employees on site.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas according to client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
