As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Services in Marcus Hook, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional at Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. You will engage with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual circumstances, hazards, or security-related concerns encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, customers, and employees by giving directions and/or responding to inquiries as needed.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
