As a Security Professional - Armed Dispatch Specialist Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Dispatch Officer in an aero and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, providing an active presence and contributing to a secure environment. This position is both armed and requires driving, so you will be responsible for responding to various situations while maintaining readiness and professionalism. You will interact with staff and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $26.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Driving Positions Only: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

  MinimumRequirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • PreviouslyidentifiedSSA required qualifications.
  • State of Georgia mandated Basic Communications Officer
  • Public SafetyTelecommunicatorI and II (or equivalent)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • National Incident Management System 100, 200, 700. BOO
  • Hazmat Materials Awareness
  • Local Dispatch maintainingrequirements for Certification, Qualification and Active Shooter.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  Job Summary:

  • This positionis responsible forall tasks associatedwithinitiating emergency response to include answering emergency and non-emergency calls, providing life-saving instructions responding to and dispatching public safety personnel, responding to general requests forassistanceand information, andmaintainingcritical public safety records.

  Job Description:

  • Monitor andoperatea public safety answering point includingemergentand non-emergent calls for service while administering routine and emergency call assignments and operations per established guidelines.
  • Dispatches calls to appropriatedepartmentoragency, relays updated callinformation;maintainsstatus of field units within the Fire and Security Blotters while emphasizing accuracy and completeness.
  • Disseminate and receiveinformation to/from first responders in the field.providingsituational awareness during emergency calls, whilemaintainingthe constant status of field units and updating dispatch information.
  • Monitorssevere weather alertsystems;initiateslocal alerts and voice activations of the siren warning system; notifies county personnel.
  • Maintain all department-required certifications, working knowledge and/or use of continually evolving equipment and applications,proficiencywith Fire and Security operations pertaining toLM Marietta and perform other related duties as assigned.
