As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet arriving team members and visitors, support access control and screening processes, and watch for unusual activity. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with site leaders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific screening procedures, access requirements, and security-related policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct entry screening for personnel and visitors, which may include credential verification, visitor processing, bag and package inspection, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in points.
• Screen inbound and outbound deliveries, parcels, and shipping documentation as required, escalating irregularities according to site-specific procedures.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations and transportation teams to manage traffic flow at screening points and help maintain orderly lines and staging areas.
• Monitor designated screening areas for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or prohibited items, and report concerns to supervision and/or site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear communication and requesting assistance as needed.
• Complete required reports such as screening logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation in a timely manner.
• Use site-approved screening equipment and communication tools as trained, and report equipment issues or maintenance needs through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
