What You'll Do:

• Perform screening of personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with client site procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and uphold site-specific policies while providing customer service to all individuals at the location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills and following emergency protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and report any irregularities.
• Assist with monitoring and controlling access points within the facility to promote an orderly flow of authorized personnel and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of all screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding any security-related concerns or incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
