Security Officer Badge Verification

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Mckinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and support badge-related procedures while helping to maintain an organized, welcoming environment. In this access control role, you will remain visible, communicate clearly, and assist with security-related concerns through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor and control access points for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery drivers, helping to verify credentials, issue visitor access, and document entry and exit activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting unusual activity and escalating concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as assigned.
- Support screening and inspection processes for people, vehicles, packages, and/or trailers entering or leaving the location, helping to identify unauthorized access or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
