Security Officer Alarm Dispatch Clearance Required

As a Security Officer Alarm Dispatch Clearance Required in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor systems, coordinate responses, and support security-related operations through clear communication and strong situational awareness. This role blends technology, service, and teamwork as you help address incidents, document activity, and keep critical information moving. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a dynamic technology-focused location.
- Monitor communication systems, receive and prioritize calls, alarms, and service requests, and dispatch the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Document incidents, critical situations, and routine activity in dispatch logs and reports, communicating timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Support access and response coordination by tracking officer status, relaying post assignments, and helping to deter disruptions through organized communication and attention to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrol support functions through remote monitoring tools, cameras, and perimeter-related communications, with duties that may vary based on the location and operational needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
