As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Clearance Required Emergency Response in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
