As a Security Officer Lobby Desk Clearance Required in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as a Front Desk professional, where you will greet guests, manage access, support security-related front desk operations, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, processing guest check-in and sign-out activity, issuing access materials, and communicating entry requirements in accordance with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Support a professional lobby and reception environment by answering phones, directing visitors, coordinating with site contacts, and helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and other required records related to visitors, deliveries, and security-related events while following confidential handling practices for a regulated location.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
